No. Gold foil roll labels use a reflective gold BOPP base; printed ink and a planned white layer control where that gold remains visible. Foil label sheets add selected gold or silver details to a paper, vinyl or clear base. Compare the desired effect and application method as well as the same finished size and label quantity.
Which finishes are available on gold foil labels?
Gold Foil BOPP supports Gloss and Matte. Soft Touch is not available for this material.
Can I use gold only in selected parts of the design?
Yes. Tell us which elements should show the metallic base. We’ll prepare the separation and show the intended treatment on the proof.
Do gold foil labels work on bottles and boxes?
Yes. Gold foil adds a premium finish to smooth bottles, jars and boxes. Tell us about tight curves, refrigeration or moisture and we will prepare the most suitable setup for your packaging.
Do I need to create metallic layers?

Will the metallic effect look exactly like a screen?
