FAQ

General Questions

Where is SparkStickers based?

SparkStickers is based in Ajax, Ontario, Canada. We work with customers ordering custom stickers, labels, magnets, decals, and related print products.

Can I send my own artwork?

Yes. You can upload your own artwork when placing an order or use the Upload Artwork page if you want help before ordering. We can print logos, product labels, illustrations, packaging artwork, event designs, and other customer-supplied files.

What file types can I upload?

Accepted file types: PDF, AI, EPS, PNG, JPG, JPEG, TIFF, or TIF. Vector files are best when available, but high-resolution images can also work for many products. If your artwork is larger than 50 MB or uses another format, contact us before uploading.

Do I need bleed or cut lines?

If you already have bleed or cut lines, include them. If not, upload your artwork and tell us what you want to make. We will let you know if anything important is missing before production.

Can you help me choose the right sticker or label?

Yes. Send us your artwork and a short note about how the sticker or label will be used. We can help you decide between individual stickers, label sheets, roll labels, materials, and finishes.

Can I reorder the same design?

Yes, if your previous order details and artwork are available. Contact us with your name, email, or order number and we will help you place the reorder.

Sticker & Label Basics

What does die cut mean?

A die cut sticker is cut around the outside shape of your design instead of being cut as a simple square or rectangle. It is a good choice for logos, characters, product branding, packaging inserts, and designs with a custom outline.

Why add laminate to stickers?

Protective laminate is a clear layer added over the printed sticker. It helps protect the print from handling, scratches, moisture, and everyday wear. The right laminate depends on how and where the sticker will be used.

Which stickers work best outside?

Some sticker materials are better for outdoor use than others. Vinyl with the right finish is usually the better choice for outdoor exposure, while paper stickers are best for dry indoor use. If your stickers will face water, sun, cold, heat, or heavy handling, contact us before ordering so we can recommend the right option.

Should I choose vinyl or paper stickers?

Vinyl stickers are more durable and better for products that need stronger material, moisture resistance, or longer use. Paper stickers are a more economical choice for dry indoor packaging, short-term labels, giveaways, and lower-contact uses.

Are the stickers waterproof or dishwasher-safe?

Some materials and finishes are more water-resistant than others, but performance depends on the product, surface, application, and use. Check the product page or contact us before ordering if the sticker will be exposed to water, cold, heat, oil, or heavy handling.

Should I order stickers or roll labels?

Individual stickers are often used for branding, giveaways, packaging inserts, events, laptops, bottles, and general promotion. Roll labels are made on a roll and are usually better for repeated packaging work, faster application, jars, bottles, bags, boxes, and larger product runs.

Proofing, Production & Shipping

How long does it take to receive my order?

We aim for fast turnaround on most sticker and label orders. Proofs are usually sent within 1 business day after we receive your order and artwork.

After your artwork is approved and the order is ready for print, production is usually quick for standard orders. Many orders are produced within 1–3 business days. Larger quantities, specialty materials, multiple artwork versions, complex files, proof revisions, or busy production periods can take more time.

Shipping time is separate from proofing and production time. We offer free standard shipping on orders over $60 to Canada and the USA. Expedited shipping options are also available at checkout if you need the package shipped faster after production.

If you need your order by a specific date, please contact us before placing the order so we can review the timing with you.

When does production start?

Production starts after your artwork is approved, payment is complete, and all order details are confirmed. If we need to contact you about missing artwork, low resolution, sizing, spelling, or proof changes, production may start later.

How much is shipping?

We offer free standard shipping on orders over $60 to Canada and the USA. For orders under $60, shipping rates are shown at checkout before you place your order. Expedited shipping is also available at checkout for customers who need faster delivery.

Will I receive tracking for my order?

When tracking is available, it will be sent to the email address used at checkout once your order has shipped. Please make sure your email and shipping address are correct before placing your order.

Orders & Issues

Can I cancel or change my order?

Contact us as soon as possible. Since custom orders can move into artwork review, proofing, or production quickly, changes or cancellations may not always be possible once work has started.

What happens if my order arrives damaged or has a production issue?

Contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number, photos of the issue, and photos of the packaging if it was damaged. We will review it under our Warranty policy.
